PRANAYAMA/ BREATH WORK - HOW IT CAN ENHANCE YOUR WELLBEING

The word Pranayama is highly used in the yogic culture and comes from two Sanskrit words, "Prana," meaning life-force energy, and "Ayama," meaning control or extension.

Pranayama is an ancient yogic practice that’s been around for thousands of years, the practice of consciously controlling one's breath in order to bring balance and harmony to the body, mind and soul.

The more common English expression for Pranayama is breath work.
